Hempstead Active Retirement Association (Hempstara) meets 3rd Wednesday of each month, Scout Hall, Dukes Meadow Drive, 2.00pm with speakers and a varied programme of activities, including Pilates, art, coffee morning, lunch club, quizzes, whist, ten pin bowling, Elastixs, rambles, new age Kurling and Boccia. We also run a play reading group in Hempstead library on the 4th Monday of each month which is open to non-members who enjoy drama. Contact 01634 371 496 for further details.
