KASBAH was founded by a group of parents of children with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus in 1966 with a desire to help other families in circumstances similar to their own. All of the support services are nowopen to any person with a physical and/or learning disabilities, including support for the parents, carers and families.

KASBAH offer a number of services to disabled people living in Kent and Medway. These include: Short Breaks – activity sessions provided for 16-19 year old young people with disabilities, 3rd Saturday of every month in Rainham. Hattie Webb House is a supported living project in Rochester which provides a shared supported living environment for young adults aged 18-35 who need regular support and prompts with daily living tasks to ensure they remain safe and healthy, and lead full and active lives. Residents can live at Hattie Webb House for the mid to long term. Staff are on site to prompt and support residents during the day, and are on-call 24 hours a day and at weekends.  Please contact Medway Development Manager on 01634 404468 or email hattie-webbhouse@kasbah.org.uk

Rochester Road is a shared living project in Gravesend providing 1-1 support for residents, with a live-in member of staff to ensure the site is safe for people with a higher level of needs in addition to being able to provide flexible and personalised support. Rochester Road gives residents the opportunity to live in a real home in the community, with no time limits.

Seabrooke House is an independent living project based in Swanscombe, near Dartford, which provides support and training for young disabled adults aged 18-35 years. Trainees must be willing and able to learn independent living skills and be able to undertake their own personal care. Training is provided for 5-6 hours a day and staff are on site 24 hours a day. Staff support trainees to their individual level of need, gradually reducing the level of involvement over a period of time.

Advisor Service - offers a wealth of information, support and empowerment on all topics relating to disabilities. KASBAH offers a flexible and person centred service that strives to fit the needs of our member's lives.

DIAL is a volunteer led service which provides generic advice on disabilities and maximizing benefits.
