MADM is a Christian charity based in Maidstone supporting the homeless, those in addiction, socially isolated, disadvantaged and in crisis.
Making A Difference To Maidstone (MADM) is a Christian charity based in Maidstone supporting the homeless, those in addiction, socially isolated, disadvantaged and in crisis. MADM has two charity shops, an outreach centre and storage area at Demelza.
Our clients are identified by referrals from probation, social services, mental health, early help, local authorities, housing associations, supported housing and other agencies, as well as self-referrals and outreach activities to name a few.
Some of the services we provide include; an open door policy to service users 6 days a week, emotional, practical and spiritual support, financial support, crisis housing, match funding, signposting, voluntary opportunities, street outreach, an outreach centre with everything for life and home, counselling and prayer ministry.
The aim is to support and empower individuals so that they may re-integrate into society, explore their full potential to lead productive and positive lives and enhance the communities in which they live.
You can help MADM by donating clothing, furniture, white goods, household items, food, toiletries and financial donations. MADM welcomes enquiries from anyone that might be interested in volunteering or knowing more.
